Two men have died in separate crashes in Cork and Mayo this morning.

A 21 year old man died in a single vehicle collision on the R577 near Kiskeam Co Cork shortly before 6am this morning.

He was pronounced dead at the scene after his car left the road and struck a ditch.

In Mayo, a man in his 30's died when his car left the road at Kilbride near Newport at about 4:20am this morning.
