Twitter has announced a new feature that makes it incredibly easy for US residents to register to vote in the upcoming presidential election. This is one of a number of digital methods that have been unveiled this year.
A Twitter users simply needs to send a DM to the official @Gov_account with their zip code. The user will then receive an automated response with their state's registration deadline and a personalised link to register.
