Cloudy and windy today with scattered outbreaks of rain, heavy and persistent at times.

Temperatures rising to between 8 and 11 degrees.

Strong southerly winds will gust to gale force in exposed areas but will ease this evening and veer southwesterly.


Clear spells tonight but some heavy and prolonged showers will occur also.

Rather cold with temperatures falling to between 1 and 5 degrees in light to moderate southwesterly winds.

Some frost and icy patches developing locally.
