Humid and mostly cloudy today with scattered outbreaks of rain, heaviest across Ulster and Connacht to begin, hill and coastal fog about too. The rain will however tend to turn more patchy through the day with some brightness developing. Amounts across southern counties will be minimal with some sunny spells breaking through in these areas.
Maxima of just 15 to 17 degrees Celsius across the north, but 18 to 20 degrees Celsius elsewhere, with mildest and driest conditions for southern counties. Southwest breezes will be no more than moderate in strength.
Mild and rather close tonight with lowest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees Celsius.
Overall dry under broken cloud, but there will be patches of mist, drizzle and fog, all in near calm.
