A cold start today with some frost and mist patches this morning. It will be mainly dry with sunshine in the south of the country, however cloud will persist in the north and there may be some patchy light rain there later in the day.

Highest temperatures will be between 5 and 9 degrees and winds will be light, variable or calm.


There will be frost or fog in the south tonight; but it will be cloudier in the north where temperatures are likely to remain above freezing.

Lowest temperatures between zero and -4 degrees; coldest in the south.
