Patchy rain in west Munster will clear this morning leaving a mainly dry day across Munster, Connacht and west Ulster with some sunny intervals.
However, for Leinster and east Ulster it looks set to be a cloudy and increasingly wet day with outbreaks of rain moving in from the Irish Sea, turning heavy and persistent at times.
Cool and blustery with highest temperatures of 13 to 17 degrees in fresh to strong north or northwesterly winds.
Cloudy, blustery and wet for much of Ulster and Leinster overnight with further showery outbreaks of rain.
Staying predominantly dry for Connacht and Munster but a few patches of rain or drizzle will edge in from time to time.
Minimum temperatures of 8 to 11 degrees in fresh and gusty northwesterly winds.
