This morning will be generally dry and bright with good spells of sunshine.
Cloud will increase through the middle part of the day with outbreaks of rain and drizzle developing along Atlantic coastal counties; the rain will then spread eastwards during the afternoon and evening.
The day will become windier as southerly winds strengthen with strong gusts across Connacht and northwest Ulster.
Highs of 14 to 16C.
The rain will finally clear the east coast later this evening and most of the night will be dry and clear with lows of 9 or 10 degrees in fresh southwest winds.
