Three people have been rescued from a sinking fishing boat, 20 miles off the Seven Heads coastline in west Cork.
The Courtmacsherry RNLI lifeboat was called out at 5.46pm to go to the aid of the 60-foot vessel.
The ship had put out a serious mayday alert.

The rescue boat reached the vessel - which had been taking in water rapidly - at 6.40pm in poor conditions and bad visibility.
The Irish naval vessel LE Niamh and the coastguard helicopter also took part in the rescue.
Pumps were then used to stem the intake of water into the boat.
The lifeboat took the stricken vessel in tow and is heading for Union Hall.
