An 18-year-old teenager has been arrested by gardaí investigating a shooting in the Ballymun area of Dublin.
A Garda and a teenager were injured when shots were fired during a planned drugs search at a house in Barnewall Drive yesterday morning.
Two women arrested in connection with the incident have now been released without charge, while a man in his 40s is still being questioned.
The 18-year-old man arrested this morning is being held at Ballymun Garda Station.
Officers are now appealing to the public for information.
Detective Superintendent Colm Fox said: "We are appealing to members of the public who were in the vicinity of 1 Barnwell Drive between 6pm on the 6th December and 7am on the 7th December, to contact the incident room at Ballymun Garda Station.
"In particular, we would like to hear from taxi drivers, take away food outlets who may have delivered to this address or anyone else who may have had reason to call to this address.”
