Today will be mainly dry and sunny. In Ulster, the showers at first this morning will be heavy and frequent but will become isolated through the early afternoon.
Moderate to fresh and gusty northwest winds will ease in the second half of the day. Temperatures will be just 7 to 9 degrees.
Tonight will be dry and under clear skies temperatures will fall to between minus 2 and plus 2 degrees.
Winds will be light and variable and a widespread frost will develop with the risk of ice patches on untreated surfaces.
