Transport Minister Shane Ross has again insisted the Dublin Bus dispute will not be resolved by him.

His comments come as the company writes to staff, saying the strikes are having a catastrophic effect on its finances.

It says the industrial actions are undermining the efforts to get over the financial crisis.

Another 15 days of Dublin Bus strikes are set to take place.

SIPTU says members will take industrial action on September 27th and 28th - as well as October 5th, 7th, 10th, 12th, 14th, 18th, 19th, 24th, 26th, 29th.

It is in pursuit of a 15% flat pay increase over the next three years.

The company says to date, the work stoppages have cost it in excess of €4m.

But Minister Ross has again insisted he does not have a chequebook to resolve the dispute.
