Showers in the west and north will spread eastwards and will become widespread and heavy this afternoon with the risk of hail and thunder.
It will be cool and blustery with highest temperatures of 7C to 10C degrees with fresh, gusty westerly winds.
Tonight
Showers will continue this evening. Later in the night they'll become more isolated and confined mainly to western and northern coastal counties by morning.
It will become cold overnight with lowest temperatures of 2C to 5C degrees with fresh, gusty west to north-west winds continuing.
