Saturday's weather: Wrap up warm and bring a brolly

Temperatures could fall to between 1 to 4 degrees tonight

There will be showery outbreaks of rain at first, mainly in the southeast and east.

Mist and fog can be expected in many areas also.

It will brighten up gradually from the west, with sunny spells developing and becoming dry in many parts, but scattered showers will continue for much of the day in eastern coastal areas.

A few scattered showers will also occur in other areas, mainly along west and north coasts.

The day will be cool, in light to moderate northerly breezes, with maximum temperatures between 12 to 14 degrees.

Tonight will be dry, with clear intervals and near calm conditions. It will be cold, with ground frost, mist and fog. Minimum temperatures will range from 1 to 4 degrees.
