Saturday's weather: Warm and sunny but rain expected in some parts

Top temperatures will be between 17 to 20 degrees


Patches of mist and fog, slow to lift from the south and parts of the east coasts this morning, will clear elsewhere.

A good deal of cloud can be expected today, but some hazy sunshine will develop, best over parts of Ulster and Leinster.

Some showery rain at times in Atlantic coastal areas will become more widespread this afternoon and evening.

Top temperatures will be between 17 to 20 degrees. It will be breezy in the southwest, but light easterly breezes elsewhere.


Misty tonight, with further showers or rain in places, persistent in eastern and southern areas for a time.

But drier and somewhat clearer weather will develop in many places later, with some fog locally at dawn.

Lowest temperatures will be between 9 to 12 degrees.
