Saturday's weather: Summer delayed as heavy rain expected nationwide

This morning will start off dry in the west and north. However, rain in east Leinster and east Munster will spread westwards to all areas and will be heavy in places. It will clear to the northwest through the afternoon and evening with showers or patchy rain following. Highest temperatures of 12 to 16 degrees with moderate northeast breezes.


Outbreaks of rain will continue to affect Leinster and Ulster, but will clear northwards by morning. It will be drier and mostly cloudy in Munster and Connacht, with some mist and drizzle in places. Lowest temperatures of 8 to 11 degrees.
