Saturday's weather: Good sunny spells expected but cooler in some parts

Mainly dry today, with some good sunny spells. It will be partly cloudy at times and feeling fresher than recent days. Temperatures will range across the country, with 13 or 14 degrees expected on some eastern and northern coasts. It will be 17 to 18 degrees in many other areas and the hottest weather will be felt in the mid-west and southwest where temperatures should reach 20 degrees. Winds will be light to moderate in an east/northeasterly direction.


Dry tonight in most areas with a mix of clear spells and cloudy periods. It will be cold over Ulster and parts of Leinster, with lows of 3 to 6 degrees. Temperatures should feel milder elsewhere, with lows of 7 to 9 degrees.
