It has been confirmed that a State report into the Olympic ticketing scandal is being withheld because of legal issues.
The report into the Olympic Council of Ireland (OCI) handling of tickets has already been finished by Justice Carroll Moran.
However, the Transport and Sports Minister Shane Ross says one of the named parties has raised legal concerns.
He has told the Dáil that he's awaiting advice from both the Attorney General and a Brazilian lawyer before he can release it.
Minister Ross said: "I am in a position to publish the report if I wish to, and if I thought it was wise.
"I think it would be extraordinarily foolish [...] to publish this report, having referred it to the Attorney General."
Earlier, former OCI president Pat Hickey - who was arrested in Rio in connection with the investigation - told Newstalk Breakfast that he had seen a draft of the report.
He explained: "My legal team have advised Judge Moran - and the Minister, and the Attorney General - that this report should not be published until after the court case is heard in Rio.
"Anything that comes out of it could prejudice my fair trial."
