Irish retailer Primark, which trades as Penneys in Ireland, is continuing to grow in the United States. Its fifth North American store will open at Willow Grove Park Mall in Pennsylvania today.
This is Primark's second outlet in the state - it comes hot on the tail of the company's fourth US store, which opened its doors on Saturday (16th July).

The newest outlet has 58,600 sq. ft. of retail space spread across two floors, it has a total of 58 fitting rooms.
They will feature 'trend rooms' highlighting the latest styles and 'recharge' cafes.

Paul Marchant, Chief Executive of Primark, said: "We are pleased to open our fourth and fifth stores in the U.S. as we continue to receive extremely positive customer feedback during this time of growth in the Northeast. These openings mark another important milestone in raising awareness of Primark’s unique formula of Amazing Fashion, Amazing Prices."
These openings are due to create over 500 jobs.
Primark has five more openings planned, two in Massachusetts, two in New York and one in New Jersey.
