In light of teachers' protests over the Junior Cycle curriculum set to be put in place, George Hook wanted to ask the question: which is better...old school or new school?
Protests were seen across the country, as 27,000 secondary school teachers voiced their concerns over the implementation of the new Junior Cycle curriculum.
The ASTI and TUI joined together for the demonstration.
So it got us thinking...which holds the upper hand? The old way of learning, or the new ways being introduced?
To discuss, George invited educationist Nevile Gwynne, as well as director at Godsil Education and former Headmaster of St Andrew’s College onto the Right Hook.
What ensued was an informative and lively debate.
