Rumours that US Presidential hopeful Donald Trump's star will be removed from the Hollywood Walk of Fame are being denied by officials.
The tribute - which was laid in 2007 after his stint on the US version of The Apprentice - is apparently being vandalised three times a day.
Spit, graffiti and even dog poo have all been left on the star.

In a statement quoted by CNN, Hollywood Chamber of Commerce President Leron Gubler said, "the Hollywood Walk of Fame is a registered historic landmark.
"Once a star has been added to the Walk, it is considered a part of the historic fabric of the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Because of this, we have never removed a star from the Walk," he added.
The vandalism has, however, divided opinions - while some observes suggest it is unwelcome, others argue the presidential candidate "has got that coming to him".
