Former President Obama visited Prince Harry at Kensington Palace in England to discuss their foundations and offer their condolences to victims of the Manchester attack.

The official Kensington Palace Twitter account shared a photo of the two, which Obama later retweeted.

"Good to see my friend Prince Harry in London to discuss the work of our foundations & offer condolences to victims of the Manchester attack," Obama tweeted.

Earlier in the week, the former US president issued a statement offering his condolences, tweeting that his "heart goes out to those killed and wounded in Manchester," and that "Americans will always stand shoulder to shoulder with the people of the UK."

Nearly two dozen people died and more than 100 others were injured after a suicide bomber triggered an explosion on Monday night as attendees began to leave one of Grande's concerts in Manchester.

Two further arrests were made this morning in connection with the incident, bringing the total number of people in custody to 11.
