Some sunny breaks at first in parts of the north and east but mostly cloudy today.
Scattered outbreaks of rain mainly in the west and southwest will become persistent there during the morning, but staying mostly dry elsewhere.
The rain will gradually spread northeastwards during the afternoon, with some heavy outbreaks and wet in most places through the evening.
Top temperatures of just 14 to 16 degrees Celsius in light variable or southeast to east breezes which will increase moderate in places later.
Mild, humid and wet tonight with widespread rain, heavy at times with some low cloud and fog on hills and some coasts.
A clearance to heavy showers will follow eastwards to all but eastern areas by dawn.
