Except for the chance of a few spots of drizzle on hills and near west coasts, most areas will be dry today.
However it will be mostly cloudy, and rain will arrive on west coasts around nightfall.
Southwest winds will freshen as the day goes on.

Much of the east will remain dry early tonight.
However rain in the west will spread east to affect all areas as the night goes on, and it will be heavy for a time too with low cloud and mist.
A clearance will follow from the west later tonight.
