Monday's weather: Dry with spells of hazy sunshine

Dry today with spells of hazy sunshine and mostly light easterly breezes. A cool start, particularly across parts of the midlands, but once again very mild by early afternoon with maximum temperatures of 15 to 17 degrees Celsius for the midlands, west and southwest.

Maxima of 11 to 14 degrees Celsius elsewhere, coolest all the while along eastern and southern coasts with onshore breezes persisting here.

Still a lot of dry weather overnight, however increasing cloud may produce a little patchy drizzle. Mist thickening into fog too, especially across the midlands and north.

Lowest temperatures 2 to 6 degrees Celsius, coldest further north. East to southeast breezes will remain mostly light.
