Cloudy and dull this morning with mist, fog and patchy drizzle.
There will be brighter weather for a time in the east and southeast but a spell of persistent rain will develop early in the west and push eastwards, becoming light and patchy as it passes over the country.
With temperatures of 15 to 17 degrees to start the day it will feel warm and humid early on and temperatures will rise to between 17 and 21 degrees this afternoon.
Winds will be mainly light southwesterly, increasing moderate later.
A spell of heavy rain will develop in the southwest this evening.
Rain, heavy at times will spread from the southwest to all areas overnight.
A clearance will develop in the west towards morning.
Lowest temperatures 11 or 12 degrees. Winds mainly light to moderate southwesterly.
