A 26 year-old man is due to appear in court in connection with a major drug seizure in Dublin.

The man was arrested following the discovery of cocaine, with an estimated street value of €1.5 million.

The search, conducted at a property on Rathmines Road Lower, was part of an ongoing operation.

The man is due to appear before Dublin District Court imminently.
