A man has been killed in a motorcycle accident in Dublin.#

The accident happened at the Herberton Road junction on Crumlin Road in Dublin at about 4am.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene and no other vehicles were involved.

Local diversions were put in place while Herberton Road was closed as a forensic examination was carried out.
