A man in Britain has been charged over a scam involving a dead squirrel.
Kent Police received a number of reports about suspicious activity in the town earlier this year.
It is alleged a man had been knocking on doors offering unnecessary roof repairs.
The man is said to have produced a dead squirrel, before demanding money to clear a pest infestation.
The incidents are reported to have happened between February and May.
Officers arrested George Johnston (34) - of Sandhurst Road, Tunbridge Wells - on May 24th in connection with the incidents.
He has been charged with four offences of fraud by false representation.
He is set to appear in court on October 10th.
