A man has appeared in court in connection with a major drugs seizure worth approximately €3.8m in County Meath.
30 year old Richard Folan of Clinstown, Stamullen in County Meath appeared before the Criminal Courts of Justice in Dublin this afternoon charged with two counts of possession and two counts of possession with intent to sell and supply.
The accused was arrested following the discovery of 160kg of cannabis and MDMA at his home yesterday.

Gardaí originally valued the drugs at €5.3m - believing the haul to be made up of cocaine and cannabis.
Gardaí from the Meath Divisional Drugs Unit, assisted by Ashbourne detectives and the Garda Dog Unit, discovered the drugs following a search of the house, lands and vehicles at Mr Folan’s property.
At a special court sitting this afternoon, Justice Michael Walsh denied Mr Folan bail due to the serious nature of the charges and remanded him in custody.
He is due to appear before Cloverhill District Court next Friday.
