A man arrested in connection with the forging of documents has been released from Garda custody.

The man - who is in his 40s and believed to be from Algeria - was detained in Drumcondra yesterday morning.

A computer and documents that were seized are being examined for potential terrorist links.

He was released from Garda custody last night.

A file is now being prepared for the DPP.
