A man has been arrested in connection with a robbery in north County Dublin yesterday evening.
The incident happened at around 9.20pm last night, when a lone man entered a commercial premises in Balrothery.
The man - who was wearing a balaclava over his face - demanded cash.
A female employee was assaulted during the incident, but did not require medical attention.
The man left the scene on foot with a sum of cash.
Gardaí investigating the robbery searched a house in Balbriggan, assisted by members of the Armed Support Unit (ASU).
A 44-year-old man was arrested during the search. He is currently being detained at Balbriggan Garda Station.
