Gardaí have made an arrest in connection with a shooting in Dublin last year.

The incident happened at Drumalee Park, Dublin 7 on 2nd September.

A man was shot at a number of times as he entered a house, but he was not injured.

A man with the firearm fled the scene in a red car driven by another man.

A car was found on fire a short time later.

This morning Gardaí arrested a man in his 30s in connection with the incident.

He has been detained for questioning at the Bridewell Garda Station in Dublin city centre.

Investigations are ongoing.
