A man has been arrested in Northern Ireland on suspicion of violent dissident republican activity.
The 54-year-old was detained on Friday in the Lisburn area over an incident on Tuesday July 4th in west Belfast.
The PSNI say the arrest is in connection with an ongoing investigation into reports that shots were fired over a coffin.
He has been taken to Musgrave Serious Crime Suite, where he is currently being interviewed.
Searches were also carried out on Thursday night in the Andersonstown area of west Belfast.
Officers are appealing to the public to contact them with any information.
