Two people arrested following the discovery of a firearm in Dublin have been been released without charge.
The 3.65 calibre handgun was seized on Thursday after gardaí searched the car the pair were travelling in on the M1 at Lusk.
The man, in his 50s, and woman, in his 30s, were detained at Drogheda garda station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act 1939.

They were both freed late last night, gardaí said.
Investigations are ongoing and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
