The Irish Coast Guard were deployed on Saturday afternoon after receiving a report that a male in his 30s had fallen off the cliff path on Howth Head.
The Irish Coast Guard Cliff Rescue team, along with Howth lifeboat rushed to the scene, while the Dublin Fire Brigade (DFB) and an ambulance also responded to the call.
A team located the man, who had fallen four meters off the Cliff Path near Drumleck Point, and worked with paramedics to transport him to a waiting ambulance.
The man was said conscious and breathing after the fall, but had suffered a head injury. He is currently being treated at Beaumont Hospital.
