The union representing striking Luas workers will meet employers Transdev this afternoon.
It comes after SIPTU last week served notice for further strike action on six days later this month and in May.
Luas workers have already held eight days of industrial action, following stoppages in February and March as well as earlier this month.
There will be five full-day strikes in April and May, as well as a four-hour stoppage on another day.
These will be on April 28th, May 4th, May 13th, May 20th, May 27th and a partial stoppage on May 26th.
This is in addition to the strikes due to take place on April 23rd and 24th.
Meanwhile, Traders in Dublin city say they are losing approximately €1.5m every day that Luas workers are on strike.

He says told Newstalk Breakfast it is not entirely clear what these talks are.
