'I've been in pain every day for the last 11 years'

Sinead McArdle has been living with multiple sclerosis for over a decade.

George Hook spoke to long time sufferer of multiple sclerosis Sinead McArdle on High Noon today.  She firstly explained that while she is in pain, it's not the same for everyone.

'Not everyone is in pain with MS, but I'm one of the unlucky ones'.  She told George that she takes painkillers as regularly as she can, but she can't overdo it.

She also spoke of how difficult it can be to do normal things around the house when you're in constant pain.

'Dinner still has to be made.  The house still has to be clean'.  And in terms of being social, that's a whole other story.

'Going to the cinema, No.  All my social outings are arranged at 10 or 11am.  I can't go any earlier as it takes me that long to get going.  I need to conserve my power, as I get tired after anything.  I do something, take a rest.  Do something, take a rest'
