Gardaí in Galway say a missing man has been found safe and well.

John ‘Jack’ Ryan (62) had last been seen in Galway city on August 13th.

Gardaí issued an appeal yesterday, saying it was believed he may have travelled to Dublin.

They now say he has been found safe and well.

Gardaí have thanked the public for their assistance.
