A man shot several times in Dublin last night remains in a critical condition in hospital.
Gardaí investigating last night's shooting in Dublin say it is believed shots were fired through the kitchen window at the back of the victim's house, wounding him several times.
The lone gunman - who was wearing a balaclava - then drove away from the scene at Parslickstown Green in Mulhuddart, shortly after 8pm.
The 38-year-old victim was taken to Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown, where he remains in a critical condition.
There have been no arrests and the scene remains preserved for technical examinations.
