Gardai are appealing for the public's help in tracing the whereabouts of a missing 36-year-old man who was last seen in December in Cork city.

Nayden Nikolov Ivanov was spotted getting off a bus just before 5 o'clock on the evening of the 17th December 2015 at Lower Oliver Plunkett Street in Cork City.

He's described as being 5'7" in height, of heavy build, with short black hair and brown eyes.

When last seen he was wearing a grey jacket, dark blue denim jeans and dark blue runners.

Gardaí are concerned for his welfare and have asked that anyone with information contact them at Anglesea St Garda Station on 021 4522000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666111 or at any Garda station.
