Friday's weather: Sunny spells with some scattered showers

Sunny spells and well scattered showers occurring today, most of these affecting the northwest.

In fact much of the midlands, south and east will hold fully dry.

Highest temperatures will range 16 to 19 degrees Celsius (best values in the south and east), in light southwest breezes.


Tonight will be largely dry under broken cloud.

Isolated light showers in the northwest early on, with the odd spot of light rain or drizzle affecting Atlantic counties later.

Mist and fog patches occurring in the south and east.

Lowest temperatures 8 to 12 degrees Celsius in near calm.
