Today will be and blustery with sunny spells and showers.
The showers will be heaviest and most frequent in Connacht, Ulster and west Munster with some merging to longer spells of rain in Ulster.
Showers will be more isolated in the east and southeast.
Highest temperatures of 8 to 11 degrees with fresh, gusty west to northwest winds.
Tonight, many areas will become dry with clear spells.
However, showers will continue along in northern and western coastal counties.
Lowest temperatures of 1 to 6 degrees with ground frost in parts of the midlands and east.
