In the west and north, the rain will be persistent and heavy with the ongoing risk of thundery downpours possibly leading to localized flooding.
In the east, showery rain will clear to scattered showers with some sunny spells developing.

Winds will be mostly moderate but fresh at times and in coastal areas of the west and north winds will increase strong and gusty.
Tonight will become mostly dry in the east and north with good clear spells.
