It will be dry in many places today but a few well scattered showers can be expected in parts.

There will be a lot of cloud but some sunny spells through the day too.

Highest temperatures will be between 13 to 15 degrees, in moderate, occasionally fresh southeast winds.

Tonight will be mainly dry under broken cloud, but isolated light showers will occur.

Some fog is forecast to develop across parts of the midlands later too.

It will be cold where clear spells persist, with overnight lows ranging from 4 to 9 degrees, in mostly light southeasterly breezes.
