Gardaí in Wexford are renewing their appeal for information on the disappearance of a woman almost 20 years ago.

Fiona Sinnott - who was 19 when she disappeared - was last seen in the Broadway area of Co Wexford on 8th February 1998.

Before she disappeared, she had been socialising at Bulter's Pub in the village. She left the pub at around 12 midnight, and there has been no confirmed sighting since.

A motorist saw a man and a woman on the roadway near Kisha Cross, Broadway at around midnight.

Two men in their late teens or early 20s were also seen in close proximity.

However, none of these four people have ever come forward.

Gardaí say they are anxious to speak to them, as well as anyone in the area who did not or could not come forward at the time.

Detectives say their investigation is 'actively progressing', and they have thanked the public for their assistance following a recent appeal.

They are continuing to call on anyone with information to contact Wexford Garda Station on 053-916-5200, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800-666-111, or any Garda station.
