Are you on the hunt for a new phone but don't want to spend a fortune? Well, you're in luck.

Here are five phones that prove you don't have to spend more than €100 to get a decent phone.

First things first; not everyone wants a smartphone. There are those who simply want a device to make calls and send texts. While there are a limited number of these types of phone on offer, the ones that are there are good!

Samsung Keystone 2 €19.99

My mother has this phone and loves it. She's not into technology at all. She just wants something that allows her to calls us or text us and is easy to use. The Keystone 2 ticks all of these boxes.

There is no camera and a small enough screen, but for €20, you can't really complain. The battery life is incredible. The manufacturer says 7-hours of talk time, but my mother would only charge her phone every three days or so!

Doro 6520 €79.99

This phone has buttons and access to 3G, meaning you can send emails but there are no apps.

The buttons on the phone are nice and big for anyone who may have trouble seeing smaller keys. There is a 2MP camera on the rear of the device and a nice 2.8-ich screen.

Alcatel Pixi 4 (3G) €49

If the buttons aren't for you, the Alcatel Pixi 4 offers a good service for less than €50.

This has a nice 4-inch screen and runs Android 6.0. There's a 5MP camera and 4GB of internal storage that can be expanded with a microSD card.

The phone is slightly slow when jumping from app to app, but is a solid choice for less for those on a strict budget.

Huawei Y5 €69.99

Huawei continues to impress me in every way. Their high-end phones rival the likes of Apple and Samsung, whilst cheaper models offer incredible value to users.

This is the Huawei Y5 has a 4.5-inch screen and a decent 5MP camera. There's 8GB of storage internally, which can be increased to 32GB with a microSD card.

Huawei Y5 II €99

The final phone on my list is the newer version of the phone above. It's €30 more expensive but offers users an 8MP camera. There's a Quad-core 1.3GHz Coretex A53 processor and 1GB of RAM.

Of all the budget phones I have reviewed, this has impressed me the most. It copes well with multi-tasking and is a pleasure to use. If you can stretch to €100, I would highly recommend it.
