Gardaí have discovered five dogs at Dublin Port, in the third incident in recent weeks of seizures of puppies.
The find was made just before 9.30am Friday morning as part of Operation C-Port by gardaí.
They stopped a van bound for England and began a search.
During that search, they discovered five Pomeranian puppies in a cage.

The puppies were seized and handed over to the DSPCA, as there was no valid documentation produced.
The puppies will be quarantined and then placed for adoption.
The van itself was also seized for no insurance.
Last week, 15 young pups were seized at Dublin Port - while 14 others were found on August 3rd.
