The Irish family caught up in the Barcelona terror attack have safely returned to Ireland.
Husband and wife Norman and Pederlita 'Pearl' Potot - Irish citizens who are originally from the Philippines - were holidaying in the Catalan capital alongside their two Irish-born children, Nathaniel (5) and Nailah Pearl (9).
Norman suffered a fracture to his forehead when a van was driven into pedestrians on Las Ramblas last Thursday.
His son Nathaniel has a broken leg, while daughter Nailah has a broken arm.
Norman passed out when the van hit him, and woke to find his wife wiping his forehead.
Arriving back in Ireland, Mr Potot recalled: "When I [regained] my consciousness, I asked 'where am I... what's happened?' Then I heard the policeman shouting out.
"They thought that the guy might have a gun or something, so they brought us in the basement of a restaurant."
He told his wife he hoped it was 'only a dream' in the aftermath of the attack - but she responded: "No my love, it is real."

Mrs Potot explained: "I went to [my husband] first, because I saw that he was unconscious. I tried to wake him [...] then went to my kids.
"I didn't feel scared - I didn't even feel any pain in my body. [I just wanted] to be sure they were OK... I only saw them."
