Man arrested in connection with fatal hit and run in Tipperary

A man has been arrested following a fatal hit and run in Co Tipperary.

The incident happened at around 10.20pm on Sunday at Poynestown, Glengoole in Thurles.

A male pedestrian (68) was fatally injured at the scene.

Anthony Scaramucci has been removed as White House communications director only ten days after getting the job.

It is the latest development in a major shake-up of the Trump administration, which has also seen the resignation of press secretary Sean Spicer and the departure of chief of staff Reince Priebus.
