AGSI says its planned strike has been suspended

The Association of Garda Sergeants and Inspectors (AGSI) says it has agreed to ballot its members on Labour Court proposals and has suspended its planned strike tomorrow.

After last minute talks at the Labour Court, the association said it has "gained an uplift in the income of all our members", and the details will be balloted on.

In a rare campaign speech, Melania Trump said she would work as an advocate for women and children.

A driver has been arrested after they were found to be speeding at 216km/h in a 100km/h zone.

The car was detected breaching the speed limit on the N7 on Wednesday morning.

A landmark case in the UK High Court has ruled that UK Prime Minister Theresa May cannot trigger Brexit without putting it to a vote in the House of Commons.
